Goal take a look.
What happens if Manchester City wins the Champions League?
UEFA awards England a maximum of five places in the 32-team Champions League.
Four places are reserved for teams that finish in the top four in the Premier League, while an additional place is reserved if an English team wins the tournament but finishes outside the top four.
While Manchester City have already won the Premier League, England would not receive an additional Champions League spot if the citizens were crowned European champions.
What if Chelsea win the Champions League and finish in the top four?
Chelsea winning the Champions League while finishing in the top four has no Premier League ramifications.
England would retain their four qualifying spots and the Premier League fifth team would advance to the Europa League group stage.
What if Chelsea win the Champions League but finish outside the top four?
Chelsea would still automatically qualify for next season’s Champions League as the tournament winner, and England would have five teams competing.
Anyone who finishes fourth in the Premier League would do not go down to the Europa League. They would qualify for the Champions League.
What if Chelsea win the Champions League and finish in the top four and Man Utd win the Europa League?
England will still have four teams in the Champions League next season, and the fifth finalist will play in the Europa League.
If a team wins the Europa League but finishes in the top four, its Champions League qualifying spot will not be released to another team.
What if Chelsea win the Champions League but finish outside the top four and Man United win the Europa League?
Man Utd winning the Europa League has no effect on Premier League teams qualifying for the Champions League. England would still have four teams in the Premier League, with the fifth playing in the Europa League.
Which teams will qualify for the Europa League?
Two Premier League teams will qualify for the Europa League due to the implementation of the all-new Europa Conference League.
Places go to the FA Cup winners and the Premier League fifth team.
Because Leicester have won the FA Cup and appear poised to finish in the Premier League top five, the Europa League qualifying spot will drop to sixth.
