Rihanna recently opened up about upping her fashion game after the birth of her second son.
As fans know, the Barbadian singing sensation shares a brood of two sons, RZA and Riot, with longtime pal A$AP Rocky.
On the occasion of her appearance at the launch party of her collaboration with a popular clothing brand in London, Rihanna spoke with BBC News.
In that conversation, the singer opened up and said, “With the first pregnancy, I feel like I could have worn heels the whole time.”
“But then, in the second pregnancy, you have a toddler, a belly, it’s winter, you have a coat, a baby bag. Do you like heels? Hmm, maybe not. That’s why I became a little more creative with my comfortable style,” she mused.
“And then I got too comfortable after I had my second child and I was just wearing dresses, pajamas, sweats,” the Monster the hitmaker recalled.
Nevertheless, she admitted: “And now I’m playing again. Now I have fun with my clothes,” she said.
She also mentioned that after adding two little lives to her family, she is now ready for “a rediscovery” of fashion.
“After a while, when you have children, you think [fashion] is the stupidest thing… it’s really the least important thing,” she explained.
Concluding the conversation, she said, “But it does something for you as a woman, and as a mom, it’s important to us.”
