MILAN, TWICE AS GOOD: Marking a new chapter for Brioni, the Italian luxury menswear brand has chosen Jude Law and his son Raff as new ambassadors.
Both will make their debut in this role with the spring 2022 campaign photographed by Craig McDean.
“Jude Law is a great master of his craft and Raff is a rising talent in the same universe,” said Brioni chief executive Mehdi Benabadji. “Both have a strong personal style and a natural bond. This authenticity makes the Laws a perfect match to reflect Brioni’s modern take on menswear, in which distinctions of age and personality are blurred by a shared passion for authentic craftsmanship and elegance. At Brioni, we are all delighted to work alongside Jude and Raff.
Jude Law has received several accolades throughout his career, including a British Academy Film Award. He received nominations for two Oscars for his performances in “The Talented Mr. Ripley” and “Cold Mountain”; two Tony Awards and four Golden Globe Awards. Chevalier de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres by the French government, he has received accolades for his television roles in “The Young Pope” and his theater roles, including Ivo van Howe’s “Obsession” and “Henry V” by Michael Grandage. Most recently, he starred in Sean Durkin’s highly acclaimed indie feature ‘The Nest’ and returns in the upcoming ‘Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore’ franchise and will be seen as ‘Hook’ in ‘Peter Pan and Wendy’. David Lowery.
“Briani’s commitment to their craftsmanship and quality is inspiring, and I’ve always enjoyed wearing their clothes,” said Jude Law. “It is particularly joyful to work alongside Raff with a house rooted in Rome. I made a special connection with this city while filming “The Young Pope,” and it’s wonderfully comfortable and like a homecoming. »
Rome is often a strong source of inspiration for design director Norbert Stumpf, including for fall 2022.
Raff, born as Rafferty and whose mother is Sadie Frost, made his acting debut in “Repo Men,” a 2010 film directed by Miguel Sapochnik and based on the book “The Repossession Mambo” by Eric Garcia. Most recently, he starred in the 2021 film “Twist.” He is currently filming “Masters of the Air,” a new drama from Apple Studios.
“SSharing the frame with my dad for Brioni is very exciting,” said Raff Law. “While we both naturally have different tastes and outlooks, we also share a lot of the same passions. One of them is that we both love clothes and Brioni is something we are both on. ‘OK.

The Laws succeeds Brad Pitt, who had been an ambassador for the house since 2019. Last April, the Italian menswear company said it was collaborating even more with the Oscar-winning American actor and producer, unveiling a capsule collection created together. It was the first time that Brioni teamed up with an ambassador on a capsule collection, which was called BP Signature.
Fellow Hollywood legends Pierce Brosnan, Anthony Hopkins and Samuel L. Jackson were former Brioni ambassadors. McDean succeeds his peers Gregory Harris and Mikael Jansson to film the campaigns.
Kering, then called PPR, bought Brioni in 2011 from the descendants of the company’s founders, Nazareno Fonticoli and Gaetano Savini.
