From neon green hair to comedic designer tracksuits, Billie Eilish has made quite a few fashion statements throughout her career. Now it’s going in a new direction: The Simpsons yellow.
The 20-year-old singer/songwriter has been Simpsonified in a new Disney+ special episode of The simpsonsstreaming now, which also stars his brother and producer FINNEAS, who tweeted that visiting Springfield was a “to do” item for him. The short, titled The Simpsons: When Billie Met Lisa, tells the story of how animated jazz saxophone icon Lisa Simpson spontaneously clashes with Grammy-winning siblings. “Lisa Simpson was discovered by chart-topping artists Billie Eilish and FINNEAS while looking for a quiet place to practice her saxophone,” the press release read. “Billie invites Lisa to her studio for a special jam session she will never forget.”
It’s fitting that Lisa has a famous musical friend, as her brother Bart once got to hang out with The Weeknd when he starred as Orion Hughes in a March episode of the TV series. The simpsons had quite a few cameos from musicians over its 33 seasons. Johnny Cash, Paul McCartney, James Brown, Britney Spears, Justin Bieber, Tony Bennett, Michael Jackson, Lady Gaga, Ed Sheeran and more have all passed through Springfield at some point.
