The final season of the Great British Bake Off ended on Tuesday evening with student Peter Sawkins crowned the winner.
And fans don’t have to wait long for the hit series to return to their screens because a Christmas special is on the way.
However, in a promotional photo for upcoming shows, it was judge Prue Leith, 80, who caught the eye with her bright blue hairstyle that stands out in a group image.

Prue appeared to be in a good mood as she beamed a Christmas-like smile while donning a festive sweater and red glasses.
She stood next to Matt Lucas, who wore a fun Santa hat, and Paul Hollywood, who went for a more low-key party vibe in a red plaid shirt.
Prue’s hair looked like it had been dyed blue, with her short locks and sides parting despite the big change in color.
Comedian Tom Allen, host of Bake Off: The Professionals, also stepped in the photo to replace Noel Fielding for the Christmas special.

Festive: Along with Prue’s hair, the Christmas special will feature another new addition as comedian Tom Allen (right) stepping in to cover Noel Fielding while he was on paternity leave when the episode was filmed.
Noel must have missed filming on the special because he was on paternity leave at the time after welcoming his second child, reports the Radio Times.
The Mighty Boosh star and his girlfriend Lliana Bird have confirmed welcoming their daughter Iggy in October. They are also the parents of two-year-old Dali.
During the next show, Paul, Prue and Matt will be joined by former bakers from previous seasons in hopes of being crowned Christmas Star Baker.
Jamie Finn and Rosie Brandreth-Poynter of 2019, Ruby Bhogal of 2018 and 2017, contestant James Hillery, all back and ready to fight in the tent.
The team will then end Christmas with popstar Alexandra Burke performing a magical version of “Silent Night”.
While the New Years special will see Noel return to the host list and the pastry team joined by other former bakers.
2019’s Helena Garcia and Henry Bird, as well as 2014 winner Nancy Birtwhistle, will be on the show.
2018 winner Rahul Mandal will also appear and hope to wow the judges again for a shot at the coveted title of Festive Star Baker.
It comes after Peter Sawkins became the youngest winner of the Great British Bake Off after the 2020 finale aired on Tuesday night.
Despite the impressive victory, the 20-year-old said he was not getting carried away by his newfound culinary fame.

The student – who is studying finance at the University of Edinburgh – insisted he complete his degree before accepting any offers related to Bake Off.
“I’m studying at the University of Edinburgh, and this is my third year of four years of study,” he said, as reported by The Mirror. “ I can’t wait to prepare a few things at a relaxed pace for my friends and family who won’t be as attentive as the judges.
“I don’t know what will result but I hope there will be some fun opportunities that I can grab!
Commenting on his experience on the highly regarded show, Peter said: “ I can’t recommend doing this highly enough. You meet enthusiastic, energetic and passionate people who all enjoy a common interest! ‘
Peter revealed how he celebrated his victory by watching the final, which was recorded over the summer, with his college roommates.

The baker couldn’t tell his roommates that he won the show, and as he explained to Radio 2, they all sat down to watch the final together, as they did for each. Episode of the 2020 series.
Speaking over the Radio 2 breakfast, the University of Edinburgh student explained the epic reaction of his three roommates to learning he won along with millions of other viewers on Tuesday.
“ It was a lot of fun, it was just celebrations, loads of cheers, so apologies to the apartments upstairs and downstairs, ” he laughed. “It could have been a little noisy just after 9 am.
“We just watched it while we watched the whole series. It was really nice, it was quite relaxed. It was a pity that we couldn’t have had a big party… but we had a lovely time, the four of us in the apartment, pleasant and relaxed.
