Eilish debuted a blonde bob in 2021, but later revealed she wasn’t happy with the color.

Speaking to Elle in September 2021, Eilish said she chose this color because she “couldn’t go anywhere” with her green roots.
“I wanted anonymity,” she told the publication. “I went to a park with a friend and I was like, ‘No, I can’t take my hoodie off!’ I was terrified of the paparazzi and the stalkers I had. But my friend told me : “Don’t worry. And I took off my hood and I felt like a new person.”
But despite the freedom she initially felt, Eilish later said the color wasn’t the best choice for her.
“I feel sexier when I dress masculine. I haven’t felt sexy for one second being blonde,” she told Highsnobiety in a 2022 interview. “When I was blonde, people treated me differently. People completely changed their behavior.”
She then told Rolling Stone in April that she didn’t recognize herself with her light hair color either.
