Microsoft’s Windows 10 is no longer a new operating system. In fact, it has been accessible to the public for almost five years now. And yet, despite an existing half-decade, it still seems very incomplete. The control panel has still not been merged with settings, for example, and the user interface still looks like a work in progress. Hey, at least these terrible Live Tiles are apparently on the verge of disappearing. Ultimately, using Windows 10 gives the impression that you’re in a constant state of beta. It shouldn’t be that way – Microsoft’s operating system should be much better than it is. After all, the business basically has unlimited resources.
Fortunately, Linux is there to save the day. Yes, thanks to Linux distributions, computer users can healthy operating system – one that makes sense. There are countless large Linux-based operating systems, such as MX Linux 19.1, Netrunner 20.01, Basic OS 5.1.2 and Manjaro 19.0. One of my favorite Linux distributions – especially for those switching from Windows – is the excellent Zorin operating system. Why? Well, it is very secure, looks great, offers a familiar user experience and comes with great free software. Today, a new version of this operating system – Zorin OS 15.2 – is available for download, and it looks great.
“With over 900,000 downloads since its release nine months ago, Zorin OS 15 has been our largest and most advanced version ever. 2 of these 3 downloads were from Windows and macOS, reflecting our mission of ‘bring the power of Linux to people who have never had it before.
