Taylor Swift has revealed the title of the sixth track of “Midnights”.
The pop megastar is gearing up to release her new album in October and she played an online lottery game with fans to announce the tracklist with the singer filming herself choosing numbered ping pong balls which correspond to a piece of the LP.
And the latest to be unveiled in his TikTok series “Midnights Mayhem With Me” is a song called “Midnight Rain”.
Track 7 of ‘Midnights’ is called ‘Question…?’.
Last week, the 32-year-old musician revealed that she had written her very first song with a swear word in the title.
She picked number eight and revealed the title to be “Vigilante S**t.”
This is the first time Taylor has used an expletive in one of her song titles, although she has used profanity in her lyrics before.
Taylor plans to continue announcing track titles for her “Midnights Mayhem With Me” series on TikTok.
She debuted the series on September 20 and confirmed that the 13th track was “Mastermind.”
Taylor previously described the album as a collection of songs based on 13 sleepless nights over the past few years, during which she got up to jot down the lyrics.
Announcing the new project, she wrote in a statement posted online: “This is a collection of music written in the middle of the night, a journey through terrors and sweet dreams. The floors we tread and the demons we are facing. For all of us who have tossed and turned and decided to keep the lanterns lit and go in search – hoping that maybe when the clock strikes twelve…we will meet.”
There are 13 tracks for each all-nighter, though a Target-exclusive edition comes with three bonus tracks.
“Midnights” is due out October 21.
