Details are gradually beginning to emerge from Kim Kardashian’s gun robbery ordeal. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star was at the center of a jewelry heist at a luxury hotel in Paris on October 3, 2016 but luckily, she escaped unscathed.

While the TV star’s representatives released a vague statement confirming basic details of the flight, there are conflicting reports about the details of the event. Kardashian, 35, and her family remain discreet about this ordeal. IBTimes United Kingdom have gathered together all the key developments we know regarding the flight.

Where the theft took place

The building where Kardashian stayed during her trip to Paris is reportedly an exclusive luxury hotel known as The No Address Hotel. It’s located just behind the church of La Madeleine in the 8th arrondissement and is only occupied by incredibly wealthy people.

Sunday October 2

Kardashian was photographed attending the Balenciaga and Givenchy fashion shows earlier in the day before later attending a dinner at the home of designer Azzedine Alaia. After leaving the dinner, Kardashian reportedly returned to the apartment and posted a series of Snapchats. One included a Skype conversation she had with her younger brother Rob Kardashian and his pregnant girlfriend Blac Chyna while the couple hosted a baby shower in California.

Monday October 3 (first hour)

According to TMZ, the concierge of the exclusive building was bound and gagged by the intruders. Two thieves dressed as police officers entered the bedroom where Kardashian was and ordered her to get out of bed.

As Kardashian attempted to contact her bodyguard Pascal Duvier, one of the masked men snatched the cellphone from her hands while the other tied her hands with a zipper and duct tape. Multiple reports suggest there were multiple thieves at the time, but a rep for the TV star said there were two in an official statement.

One of the robbers allegedly grabbed Kardashian’s ankles, making her believe she was going to be raped, but that didn’t happen. The businesswoman was then placed in a bathtub, but when she begged them not to harm her for the sake of her children, her mouth was gagged with duct tape.

Throughout the ordeal, Kardashian’s friend Simone Harouche was also present in the apartment, but locked herself in a bathroom when she heard the commotion. Harouche reportedly contacted Kardashian’s older sister, Kourtney Kardashian, and bodyguard Duvier, who were at Arc nightclub at the time. Duvier reportedly arrived on scene about two minutes after the thieves fled on bikes.

Kardashian reportedly told French authorities that the men didn’t understand English, but she understood that they said “ring” more than once, likely in reference to her engagement ring. The incident reportedly took place over six minutes. Kardashian’s two children, three-year-old daughter North and 10-month-old Saint, were not present at the time.

What the thieves stole

The full list of missing items has not yet been revealed, but it is believed the thieves made off with two cell phones belonging to Kardashian. The group also took jewelry worth an estimated $11 million, including a $4 million ring believed to be the 20-carat Lorraine Schwartz-designed engagement ring that Kanye West gave to the TV star. reality.

What Kardashian did next

Just hours after the flight, Kardashian was seen boarding a private jet back to the United States and arrived in New York where she was reunited with husband Kanye West. The rapper met Kardashian at the airport and they were both photographed heading to their New York apartment. West, 39, stopped performing at New York’s Meadows Festival after hearing the news and has now postponed and rescheduled his Saint Pablo tour dates to spend time with his family.

The reality star’s representatives have since released a statement that read: “Kim Kardashian West was held at gunpoint this evening in her Paris hotel room by two armed, masked men dressed in by police officers. She is seriously shaken but physically unharmed.”

Kardashian has since been bombarded by trolls on social media who mocked the incident, but several celebrities have come to her defense, including James Corden and Piers Morgan. Kardashian’s former bodyguard Steve Stanulis blasts Kardashian for flaunting her wealth on social media.

TMZ reports that French authorities are now investigating the theory that the theft was an “inside job.”
