Some images required additional work. We had to extract the photos of Ernie and Leia from the Washington Post photo archive, and I had to shade specific parts of their faces in different colors. Leia’s photo was particularly difficult to work with as it was originally a black and white photo, so I had to color her as best I could and then give her some bright red hair so you could understand that it wasn’t her. normal hair color. The image of the river was originally just a curved black stream with no further artwork, and that would be too vague an image on its own, so I added the grass and trees in Photoshop to help you out. better visualize it. I also drew the olive by hand using a separate stock image of an olive as a reference. The face of this blue pope was also my fact, since the original icon was only the miter. I didn’t think that was enough for you to definitively identify the image as Pope, but then again, I hope my Pope Smurf cartoon didn’t make you think it was someone or something. something else.
