All three are described by police as documented gang members, who targeted the bulldogs because they knew their great value. When purchased from reputable breeders, animals can cost anywhere from $ 3,000 to $ 5,000.
They didn’t know Gaga was the owner, police said, as the thefts were part of gang initiation.
Two other defendants – Harold White, a known gang member and the father of Jaylin White, 40, and his girlfriend Jennifer McBride, 50 – are accused of acting as an afterthought by helping to conceal the animals stolen.
McBride was released on bail last Thursday after her lawyers argued that she was diabetic and did not have her insulin with her. She was ordered to remain under house arrest, leaving only to go to work and wear a GPS ankle monitor.

McBride reportedly returned the dogs to the police two nights later, following Gaga’s offer of a $ 500,000 reward. McBride returned the dogs to the LAPD Olympic station, 7 miles from West Hollywood, where they were taken.
“It was a brazen street crime that left one man seriously injured,” said George Gascon, Los Angeles County District Attorney.
“ We have made some very serious charges in this case and are confident that justice will be served in an appropriate manner as this case unfolds in court. ”
Gaga’s dogwalker, Ryan Fischer, 30, was shot four times while he was with his three dogs, Koji, Gustav and Miss Asia.
The thieves then fled with two of the animals – Koji and Gustav.
Miss Asia escaped from the gang before they could get her into their vehicle and ran towards Fischer.
Gaga was in Rome to shoot House of Gucci at the time of the dognapping. She did not pay the reward as police suspected the woman who dropped off the dogs had acted with the dog theft ring.
Fischer, who has been described as a family friend, survived the assault and posted images of himself in a hospital bed on his social media.
He also thanked the first responders who saved his life and called for his “attempted murder” to be brought to justice.
