The Rock On Moana 2: you will feel the mana – Wrestlezone

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is back in the studio to do the voiceover for Disney’s upcoming animated film. Moana 2.

After a few months in WWE, The Rock is back in Hollywood, undertaking several projects at the same time. One of them is the upcoming sequel Moanaone of the most popular Disney animated films of all time.

Despite the first movie releasing in 2016, it was still the number one streaming movie in 2023. So it’s clear that the desire for a sequel is incredibly high.

The Rock recently took Instagram to reveal that he is in the studio recording his lines for the upcoming film. The Great One shared that not only is his character Maui inspired by his grandfather, “The Great Chief” Peter Maivia, but also the film’s overall importance to Polynesian culture, posting:

“Bring MAUI back to life for MOANA 2! It’s so fun to be MAUI again – a character that changed my life in so many ways – including the character of MAUI inspired by my late grandfather, the great chef Peter Maivia.

The Polynesian cultural significance of this role and our history has touched families around the world and has easily become one of my greatest honors to bring to life and share. New characters, new journeys, new music.

I’m excited to have you and your families from around the world join us on this journey. You will feel the mana. #Moana2 In theaters NOVEMBER 27,” The Rock said in a message.

The Rock’s possible return to WWE

With The Rock returning to Hollywood, it is currently unclear when he will return to WWE. But recent reports suggest he’ll be back to face Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 41, whether he’s still champion or not.
