Billie Eilish revealed in a new interview with Rolling Stone that masturbation helped her embrace her body and love herself. “TMI, but self-pleasure is a huge, huge part of my life and a huge, huge help to me,” she said, explaining that she likes to do it in front of a mirror. “Partly because it’s hot, but it also gives me such a raw, deep connection with myself and my body…looking in the mirror and thinking ‘I look really good right now’ is very helpful.” She joked, “You can fabricate the situation you’re in to make sure you look good,” and suggested she should have “a doctorate in art science.” in masturbation.
Eilish has been equally candid when speaking about her sexuality, which is also the subject of her new song “Lunch.” “I wrote part of it before I even did anything with a girl, and then I wrote the rest after,” she explained. “I’ve been in love with girls my whole life, but I just didn’t understand – until last year I realized I wanted my face in a vagina.” But Eilish wishes her sexual orientation had never become a topic of conversation. “I never in a million years planned to talk about my sexuality,” she said. “It’s really frustrating to me that this is happening.”
