Apple’s iPhone 16 Pro design revealed in new leak – Forbes

We had the opportunity to examine the design of the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro thanks to leaks of several third-party cases and a full set of machined blanks. We now have a look at four production models and the new colorways of this year’s iPhone upgrade.

New images come a long time ago Apple Runaway Sonny Dickson and offer our best look at the back of the upcoming iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max.

The two different camera lens layouts for the Pro and Vanilla handsets are clear. All four models now feature a vertical dual-lens arrangement, an arrangement designed to support recording spatial video that can be played back in Apple Vision Pro in 3D. The periscope-style third telephoto lens on the 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max sits comfortably on the camera island on the more expensive models.

We don’t see the new Capture button being added to all models this year. This is a capacitive button that should serve as the focus and release button for the camera app. This joins last year’s user-definable action button, available on the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max. It will be available on all four models this year, and keen observers will see the slightest element of the action button above the volume keys on the iPhone 16 Pro Max.

Finally, three of the seven colors that will be available are shown: traditional black (which Apple likes to refer to as space gray) and two pastel shades of pink and purple. The current iPhone 15 comes in black, blue, green, pink and yellow. Purple would be one of the new colors. White will also join the roster as a new option, making seven in total.
