Billie Eilish had some serious thoughts about sex and self-pleasure in a new interview with Rolling Stone.
“I should have a doctorate. in masturbation,” she told the magazine, where she detailed why her me time is important.
“TMI, but self-pleasure is a huge, huge part of my life, and a huge, huge help to me,” the “Bad Guy” singer shared. “People should care, man. I can’t stress this enough, as someone with extreme body issues and dysmorphia that I’ve had my whole life.
Eilish explained to Rolling Stone how masturbating in front of the mirror helped her with these issues, saying that “watching myself feel pleasure has been extremely helpful in loving and accepting myself, and feeling empowered and comfortable”.
“Partly because it’s hot, but it also gives me such a raw, deep connection to myself and my body,” she said. “And I have a love for my body that I never really had.”
“I have to say, looking in the mirror and thinking, ‘I look really good right now’ is very helpful.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Eilish said talking about sex was “literally [her] favorite subject.
The “What Was I Made For” singer told Rolling Stone that she found the topic more thought-provoking than salacious, saying, “People are so uncomfortable talking about it and are weird when women are very comfortable in their sexuality and communicative. »
“I think it’s such a frowned upon thing to talk about, and I think that should change.”
