EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Primal Kitchen is recalling approximately 2,060 cases of avocado oil because the glass bottles may be susceptible to breaking and spilling, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). United.
Affected bottles of “Primal Kitchen Avocado Oil” were sold in the eastern United States, California and online nationwide, according to the FDA.
The problem was first discovered by Primal Kitchen warehouse workers, who noticed that the avocado oil had leaked during transportation.
The 750 ml bottles of avocado oil were packaged individually (UPC 8-5523200719-4) and by case (UPC 108552320071910000). The affected bottles have expiration dates between “August 19, 2025” and “August 21, 2025”.
No other batches, formats or sizes of avocado oil are included in the recall.
Anyone who purchased the recalled avocado oil should throw it away and contact Primal Kitchen for instructions on how to receive a refund.
