This week, Ofcom figures revealed that viewers were turning away from traditional broadcasters, with BBC1 and ITV, the country’s two most-watched TV channels, losing ten percentage points of their weekly audience since 2012. And for the first time in seven years, the number of households subscribing to online video platforms did not increase.
