NBC and Jennifer Lopez World of dance started the competition duels in the most recent episode. After the round, guest judge Stephen “tWitch” Boss will be able to decide which of the acts that did not originally do so will compete for redemption.
For this year’s duels, competitors have no idea who they are facing until they hit the ground with the judges pairing them rather than pairing them alone. In another twist, guest judge Twist will choose four acts to participate in a buyout round after being kicked out of duels.
Judges Jennifer Lopez, Derek Hough and Ne-Yo will ultimately decide which candidates will qualify for the next round.
