“As you get older, you have a little different perspective on life, you become a little smarter and a little less stubborn,” Kuse explained. “There are some guys there that you have to separate them strategically. Regardless, I’m still the Third Street Wild One for life. I just come with a slightly different approach; a little more calculated.

Although the “Break Your Face Style” is something that will be greatly missed, Kuse has made his gym, Goat Shed, a second home and has traded in some street fighter tendencies for strategic fighting IQ.
“My coach always said if you’re not a gym goer, you’re left behind,” Kuse said. “People who miss training during camp, we missed them. All the best are in the gym all day, camp or not.
