NFL fans were teased this week with a potential Super Bowl 57 halftime show led by Taylor Swift.
Fortunately, this will not be the case.
Instead, singer Rihanna will headline the next Super Bowl show, scheduled for February 12, 2023, at State Farm Stadium.
According to TMZ, Swift is prioritizing re-recording her first six albums, due to licensing issues with a former record company, over performing on the NFL stage in prime time.
Rihanna posted a photo of an uncaptioned NFL football via Twitter on Sunday. The NFL hasn’t confirmed the collaboration, but Rihanna’s label, Jay-Z-owned Roc Nation, has reportedly been in talks with the League and Apple Music to seal the deal.
