The Macho Nacho Productions YouTube account got a PS5 Development Kitoffering the first in-depth look at the innards of the hardware.
Presenter Tito Perez didn’t go into detail about how they got the PS5 dev kit, and it was not activated, meaning it was only able to present a menu system without starting anything.
Despite this, the posted video goes into great detail about the design of the dev kit, which differs greatly from the retail version of the PS5 and adds a number of additional ports and buttons. Check it out below.

The PS5 dev kit has been largely kept out of the public eye, with Sony keeping the details close to its chest. We’ve seen a few images and other details, and the kits briefly appeared on eBay, but the video above is the best look at the tech we’ve had to date.
Sony launched the PS5 in November 2020 in the UK, US and other major regions, and shipped over 21.7 million units worldwide.
