Microsoft just rolled out an update for Edge Dev that lets you change the icon for installed Progressive Web Applications (PWAs). The functionality makes installed PWAs look more like native apps. The latest release brings Edge Dev to version 93.0.957.0 and also brings other improvements and fixes.
Here are all the new features in the latest version of Edge Dev:
- Added the ability to change the icon of PWAs or websites installed as apps when they are installed.
- Addition of management policies (administrative models and documentation to come):
- Added a management policy to control if OneAuth authentication is applied.
- Added a management policy to control the printing of a web page layout.
- Added a management policy to define an autoplay permission list.
- Added management policy to give or remove control over feature indicator replacements.
- Added management policy on Mac to control if MAU is enabled, which controls whether updates occur through Microsoft AutoUpdate.
The update also includes several new management policy options.
