Dustin Johnson birdied three of the final six holes to win the LIV Golf Las Vegas title by one stroke.
Johnson, 39, battled against cold and wind to top the leaderboard on 12 under for his third LIV title and claim $4m (£3.1m) in prize money.
Talor Gooch and Peter Uihlein were second at 11 under, with Matthew Wolf a shot further back.
“It’s a great win,” Johnson said. “I knew it was going to be tough with the conditions.”
The two-time major winner added: “A lot of really good players were up front, so I knew I was going to have to play well if I wanted to win.”
The Englishman Paul Casey, the Northern Irishman Graeme McDowell and the American Jason Kokrak share fifth place with eight under, one shot ahead of the Spaniard Jon Rahm for his second participation in LIV Golf.
Bryson DeChambeau shared the 36-hole lead with Johnson, but could only card an over-par 74 in the final round to finish tied for ninth at seven under.
Smash GC – with Gooch, McDowell, Kokrak and captain Brooks Koepka – won the team title at 33 under, seven shots ahead of Johnson’s 4Aces.
