There is a lot of quality news from the United States.
Despite its captivating concept, the horror film was lost on some of its viewers who complained about its confusing nature.
And this confusion even extended to its lead actress, Lawrence, although she is in a relationship with director Darren Aronofsky.
During an appearance on an episode of Watch What Happens Live, Host Andy Cohen asked Lawrence, “On a scale of one to totally confused, how well did you understand your movie Mother?”
Amused by the question, Lawrence told the host, “I’ll be honest. Well, I was sleeping with the director, so I had the CliffNotes. So, five. Or four?”
A shocked Cohen responded, “Four?! Wow, okay, that’s not high.”
Aronofsky and Lawrence hit it off on the set of the film, but their relationship was short-lived and they broke up two months after the film’s release.
Lawrence later admitted that the film caused tension in their relationship.
Speaking to Adam Sandler, Lawrence said: “Normally I promote a movie, I ask people to go see it, and then it’s out of your hands.
“I usually let it go. Dating the director was different. We would be a couple. [press] tour together, I’ll come back to the hotel, and the last thing I want to talk about or think about is a movie.
“He comes back from tour, and this is all he wants to talk about and I get it. It’s his baby. He wrote it. He designed it. He directed it.”
She added: “I was doing double duty trying to be a supportive partner, while also saying to myself, ‘Can I please, for the love of God, not think about Mother! for a second ?”
“In the end, I said to myself: ‘This is not healthy. None of us do it because if I read it I start to get defensive.” Mostly because he’s my man.
“It’s great, what we’ve done – some people hate it and the people who hate it really hate it.”
