Jamie O’Hara has offered Tottenham a chance to challenge for the Premier League title this season after their stunning Matchday 1 win over Southampton.
But Gabby Agbonlahor is so confident Spurs won’t even finish above north London rivals Arsenal that he has pledged to don a Leeds United shirt if they do – and regular listeners of talkSPORT will understand the seriousness of this bet.

Tottenham looked classy as they beat Southampton in style in their Premier League opener
Antonio Conte’s side put Saints to the sword in a heartbreaking performance at White Hart Lane on Saturday.
It certainly underlined Tottenham’s top four credentials, as Ryan Sessegnon, Eric Dier, Dejan Kulusevski and an own goal gave the hosts a big win to kick off their season in style.
Former Spurs star O’Hara, however, went one step further after victory put his former club top of the league.
Whether his words are serious or ironic, we let you decide…
“It was a fantastic performance,” he told talkSPORT’s new Gameday Phone-In show. “It was a bit sloppy at the start, but what a turnaround, I knew we were going to get rid of them.
“It’s all to play for, I think we can really… can we fight for the title this season?

Tottenham got going with an impressive attacking performance
“Listen, Liverpool have been sloppy, and you are looking at Spurs – I believe! I really believe!
“I think we can do something special, we haven’t even played any of the new signings.
“Sessegnon was excellent, Kulusevski was brilliant, we look fit, we look strong, Harry Kane looks 25.
“I’m really enthusiastic. Antonio Conte is a winning manager, he won the league, he did it.
“We did the double against Man City last season, we drew both games against Liverpool… last season we were beaten by Southampton, those were the games we lost but now we seem to be going out for win games week after week outside.

O’Hara excited about new season and says Tottenham ‘doing something special’ under Conte
“I really think we can challenge.”
However, Agbonlahor is unconvinced, and he has gone all out with his talkSPORT co-host to prove how confident he is that Tottenham will not win the title at the end of the season.
chatterbox: “After watching Arsenal last night [2-0 win over Crystal Palace] they will finish above Spurs, for me.
Jamie: “You are talking absolute nonsense! Spurs will finish above Arsenal, 100 per cent.”

Agbonlahor has had numerous clashes with Leeds fans and has pledged to wear a Whites shirt if Spurs finish above Arsenal this season
chatterbox: “I will have that bet with you. If Spurs finish above Arsenal, I will wear a Leeds United shirt…for five shows. If Arsenal finish above Spurs, you must wear an Arsenal shirt.
Jamie: “I am happy to take this bet. Look, Arsenal looked very good, in the first half they looked like Barcelona and Gabriel Jesus was a big threat. But I guarantee you straight away that we will finish above Arsenal.
The end of the season could be very, very interesting.
