Grimes talks about his knockout victory at Power Slap 3 and how he used that experience to be ready for Road To The Title. Muniz talks about how good Grimes is and how he expects his middleweight to win the whole thing.
Almost out of nowhere, light heavyweight Sorin Comsa came to Muniz and let his trainer know he wanted to go home. He said he wasn’t good at Power Slap and his heart wasn’t in the competition. His team did their best to convince him to stay, but Comsa still wanted to leave. The next day, Power Slap founder Dana White contacted Comsa on Facetime to try to get him to change his mind at the last minute, but to no avail. Comsa returned home.
“At some point we’ll see him again,” White said of Comsa.
Competition moved to the Grimes vs. Muusikus fight day at UFC APEX. Muusikus won the toss and elected to punch with his right on three. The second the strike landed, Grimes started yelling “that was weak.” Muusikus returned to his corner and told KO Chris that he hurt his arm. On top of that, it was determined that Muusikus had bludgeoned Grimes.
Muusikus chose to continue and allow Grimes to strike. Grimes landed a strike to Muusikus’ eye, which was ruled clean. He started punching again a second time, which was a good slap in the face to everyone except Grimes, who immediately started yelling at Muusikus about how weak he was. Grimes’ next shot was perfect and put Muusikus on stilts.
