In an interview with ET, Blunt spoke at length about the nicknames she gave Johnson. The British actress explained, “It’s been around for three years now. I used to call it very sweet and cute things. Like he was texting me, ‘Okay, I’m leaving now, I’ll see you on set’ and I was like, ‘Okay cupcake’.
Growing up, DJ was called “Dewey” in his family, so it wouldn’t be so weird for him to have such sweet nicknames.
