In August, Helena revealed that going through the lockdown with her 20-year-old son Mingus had been “ really special. ”
The model has quarantined herself with her only child and close friends at her home in the Catskills, upstate New York.
Speaking to The Telegraph, she explained how they spent the time hiking and watching movies, adding that “being in nature has saved me both physically and mentally”.

Helena said: “ I’ve been lucky enough to spend months in a row [in lockdown] with close friends and my son Mingus … it was very special.
“I think nature saved me physically and mentally. Being in nature, I know, is as important to me as breathing.
Helena shares her son with her ex-partner, American actor Norman Reedus, known for his role in The Walking Dead. The couple were together for five years but broke up in 2003.
Mingus, who works for model agency Unsigned Group, is also making a name for himself in the fashion industry after taking part in several high profile catwalks.
