To recognize the problem, Sony stepped in with an innovative solution. The company recently introduced the Reon Pocket 5, a wearable device designed to beat the heat and provide comfort on the go. This compact device, which fits neatly into the back of a shirt or t-shirt, offers adjustable cooling levels to keep users feeling refreshed even in the hottest weather. The device can also be used during the winter, making it a year-round companion. It features advanced technology, including five cooling levels and four warming levels. In addition, thanks to its remote sensor called Reon Pocket tag, it intelligently adjusts the parameters depending on the temperature.

The upcoming fifth generation model of remote air conditioner will soon be launched in several countries, including Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Japan, Hong Kong and the United Kingdom. According to Tech Radar, the technology is not new, as the first device was launched in Japan in 2019. The 4th version was sold out within three months and a similar response was also seen in Hong Kong. Interestingly, the Reon Pocket 5 will be the first device sold outside of Asian countries.

The device is currently available for pre-order at £139 (approximately Rs 14,000), with the option to add a beige-colored neckband for an additional £25 (approximately Rs 2,616). Shipping is expected to begin on May 15, and each package includes the device, a Pocket Tag, and a white lanyard.
