Steps to Install Active Directory Users and Computers
Installation of ADUC for Windows 10 version 1809 and higher
Step 1: Open Windows Settings and go to Apps.
2nd step: Click the hyperlink on the right side titled Manage Optional Features, then click the Add Feature button.
Step 3: Select RSAT: Active Directory Domain Services and Lightweight Directory Tools.
Step 4: Click Install.
Step 5: After the installation is complete, you will have a new menu item in the Start menu called Windows Administrative Tools.
Installation of ADUC for Windows 8 and Windows 10 version 1803 and lower
Step 1: Download and install the remote server administration tools according to your version of Windows.
2nd step: Click the Start button and select Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features > Turn Windows Features On or Off.
Step 3: Scroll down and expand Remote Server Administration Tools.
Step 4: Expand Role Administration Tools.
Step 5: Expand AD DS and AD LDS tools.
Step 6: Check AD DS Tools, then select “OK”.
Step 7: After the installation is complete, you will have a folder for administrative tools in the start menu. ADUC should be on this list.
