People everywhere know Jackie Aina, not only as YouTuber makeup but also as an activist for blacks and especially for black women. However, Nigerians on Twittersphere don’t talk about her for any of these exploits; in fact, some people accuse him of being a bully.
A selfie post on Twitter by a veteran American singer Jeniffer Lopez also known as J.Lo, where she shows her new look and her “baby hair” hairstyle, stimulated by the sporadic turn of events. Jackie Aina, at first, responded in the comments with a meme that read: “She was so embarrassed. She then cited the image with a photoshopped photo of J. Lo in which the singer had a curtain for her hair. She also identified her sister below as the creator of the “work of art”.

Some Twitter users, especially black Americans, have posted under his tweet to laugh at the joke; berating that they found his antics hilarious. Others also pointed out that there were also discrepancies in J.Lo’s photo, noting that in the original image, his earring also appeared to have been touched up.

Many Nigerians, however, were of a completely different opinion, claiming that Jackie Aina had intimidated J. Lo without provocation. Some have said she is blaming J.Lo for her baby hairs, a style where your front locks of hair are gelled on the forehead, claiming it wasn’t exclusive to black women.
1. How was JLo offline?
2. What is “baby hair”?
3. What makes her a “black woman” thing?
4. If you are crazy that “baby hair” is something for black people, why are you in a rush to buy foreign hair?Jackie Aina fucked up. Say it with your chest. No bypass. https://t.co/mKRzATarlF

Baby’s hair is therefore reserved for blacks? Someone even said that JLo got off the line. 🤡
This thing of saying that people of another race can’t do what they love with another is so stupid.
Besides, Jackie Aina was wrong.

For one segment of users, it was hypocritical of Jackie, because she always emphasizes colorism and pleads for mental health, but here, she harassed someone. They felt it went against everything she preached about.
Don’t be an online bully now and jump on protecting the mental health of others and become self-proclaimed mental health advocates online when it’s convenient for you.
This tweet from Jackie Aina is absolutely disgusting and very callous.
It must be for the weight or the attention.

I’m a Jackie Aina stan, but going all the way to edit J-Lo’s photo was pointless. You can’t just say you hate being bullied as a black woman and keep doing the same. There is no indignation because she is a white woman. This is completely untrue. And unfair.

Why is this tweet still relevant? You are a bully and if the tables have been turned you will be screaming all social media.
Useless, highly useless. https://t.co/YA2gV0Uj9m

Others also claimed that Nigerians were staying out of the conversation, stating that J.Lo and the African American community have a long history, where Jlo is known to ‘steal’ black women.
Once again, the Nigerians are the only ones to be victims of Jackie Aina’s tweet, the deaf and embarrassing tone.
The AA community has beef with JLo because they’ve allegedly been stealing from black women for decades. I love her but if they want to clown her, let them have her.
