Schneider would meet several celebrities and UFC staffers that night, an occasion he counted — along with UFC 279 — as the two greatest experiences of his life. The memories of the bracelet for both events would forever remain on her wrists.
With a true fighting spirit, Schneider has defied odds over the past five years, far exceeding the few months he was given to survive after his initial diagnosis of metastatic neuroblastoma, a cancer of the nervous system.
