Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson turned their latest event into a family affair.
The longtime couple attended the premiere of Apple TV+’s “Masters of the Air” Wednesday night in Los Angeles with their sons Chet and Truman.
The famous family posed for photos on the red carpet and inside the Regency Village Theater, with the Oscar winner, 67, opting for an all-black ensemble while Chet, 33, wore a green jacket with his suit .
Wilson, also 67, complemented her husband in black while Truman, 28, wore a light-colored button-down shirt under a black blazer.
“It’s really fun! It’s awesome,” the proud mom told “Entertainment Tonight” about going to the premiere with her sons.
The “Forrest Gump” star, who is an executive producer on the new World War II series, said the premiere at Regency Village made him nostalgic.
“What I love is that we’re back in the cinema and we’re not just remembering the nights we were here. [for premieres] … but we also remember the [other] times, [like when] I dropped my son Colin off to see ‘Batman’ alone here on a Saturday afternoon,” he shared.
“So this is our hometown and this is where we saw the movies.”
Hanks and Wilson, who also share daughter Elizabeth, 41, had a rocky relationship with Chet, who struggled with substance abuse issues throughout his life.

In November 2022, the “White Boy Summer” rapper recalled that his parents sent him to a grueling wilderness program in Utah to combat his addiction.
“They just made us go around in circles with an 80-pound bag,” he remembers of the experience. “A lot of things go through your head. You are under observation. …They psychoanalyze you and separate you.
Chet has now been sober for almost three years and is dedicated to God.
“The more I look at the world around me, the more I see that the world no longer needs caricatures. False representations of who we think we should be,” he wrote on social media in July 2023.
“There is only one thing the world needs more, and that is God.”
