Chances are, you’re watching a lot more TV right now. If you look at your ensemble and think you deserve better, the renowned Chinese firm TCL has two new ranges at your disposal.
TCL has just unveiled two new Android 4K HDR TV series in the UK, both with Android 9.0, Freeview Play, Google Home and Google Assistant built-in.
With Google Home and Google Assistant built into both options, your TV can be controlled via certain Google devices such as Google Home Mini, Nest, Android OS mobile phones and Google TCL compatible remote controls.
The EC78 series (main image) is the most expensive model, combining what TCL calls its “ ultra-thin frameless metallic design ”, 4K HDR quality with Wide Color Gamut, Dolby Vision, HDR10 + and Android TV with Google Integrated assistant.
The EC78 line also includes Onkyo sound, promising incredibly immersive sound during movies, music and games.
The EC78 series is available in 55 inch and 65 inch models, at a suggested retail price of £ 549 (55 inch) and £ 749 (65 inch).
The EP65 series (above) has a sleek, sleek design, 4K HDR image quality with built-in Google Assistant and Smart HDR – to upgrade standard dynamic range (SDR) content to quality HDR type image.
Sonically, Dolby Audio (which provides 7.1-channel surround sound) is supported, which should allow you to get the most out of your favorite shows and movies.
The TCL EP65 series is available in 43 inch, 50 inch, 55 inch and 65 inch models, with prices starting at £ 329 for the 43 inch, £ 379 (50 inch), £ 479 (55- inch) and 599 model. £ for the 65 inch TV.
The EP65 and EC78 series come with Freeview Play and Android 9.0: Android TV which comes with Google Home and Google Assistant integrated. That means you can find the latest version of the movie or dim the lights without leaving what you’re watching. Android TV also lets you stream UHD content directly to the TV and enjoy native 4K HDR apps on the big screen.
Innovative features such as picture-in-picture (PIP), easy task switching, multi-user accounts and side settings should ensure that the preferred content of all family members is direct and central.
The new TVs will be available on the TCL, Amazon UK, and AO websites, as well as from other retailers.
