Samsung offers a suite of apps on Android that includes messaging, a browser, and even its own app store. Samsung Notes is a particularly popular application, thanks to devices equipped with the company’s stylus, and now it has been updated with support for undo / redo buttons.
First spotted by SamMobile, the latest update to the Samsung Notes app, has added support for two new features it surprisingly didn’t offer before. The first is support for tags, which allow users to easily organize their notes in the app. Tags can be quickly created and applied to a post immediately, with the app even suggesting text-based tags.
In addition, Samsung Notes also adds buttons to undo and redo. This feature is self explanatory, and frankly, it is shocking that it was not available before! Alternatives like Google Keep have been offering it for some time.
Samsung’s change log also mentions “smart search,” but it’s unclear what that means. Maybe you are looking for text in a note? We will update this article if we can find clarification on this.
Samsung Notes is rolling out this update through the Galaxy Store, so you can go there to check for updates. These changes are hosted in version 3.3.02.4 of the Samsung Notes application and should be available for all recent Samsung smartphones and tablets.
