Frank Warren told talkSPORT that Oleksandr Usyk will be at ringside to watch Tyson Fury vs. Derek Chisora 3 on Saturday night.
The Gypsy King will defend his WBC world heavyweight title in a trilogy clash with his fellow Briton, live and free on talkSPORT from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.
If he wins, he is in talks to meet Usyk in an undisputed showdown early next year.
As such, the Ukrainian is flying to the UK to get a close view of his potential future foe.
There is additional interest in Usyk as he will also be watching compatriot and former Olympic teammate Denys Berinchyk under the card.
“Usyk will be at ringside,” Warren told talkSPORT Breakfast.
“He arrives on Friday so he will be there.
“And hopefully we get the result that I want and then we can move forward in this fight.”
After hearing rumors that Usyk could feature earlier this week, Fury reacted angrily.
“Oleksandr Usyk can go suck a *** ad,” Fury told iFL TV.
“If he comes to the fight, I promise you I’ll slap him.
“Usyk called me a drunk recently, so I want to see what he has to say about the drink.”
It won’t be the first time that Usyk has looked at a future enemy in the flesh.
As early as 2018, he had his eyes set on a potential showdown with Anthony Joshua.
Usyk witnessed AJ’s win at Wembley over Alexander Povetkin and his rematch win over Andy Ruiz Jr in Saudi Arabia.
The pair then met in 2021 and 2022, with the Ukrainian emerging victorious twice to win the WBA, IBF and WBO heavyweight ravens he now holds.
