The Bracket Busters Spotlight Challenge is now available in NBA 2K22, and the new Elite Super Pack is available in stores with three units to collect.
The first set of Spotlight Bracket Busters challenges for NBA 2K22 is now available to players, and a new Series Pack is available in the 2K Games MyTeam mode. These offline challenges offer players a variety of tasks to complete to earn new cards and improve their roster.
This first set does not offer the most powerful NBA 2K22 units never released, but it’s something players can still find some use for. Unfortunately, the challenges are only here for 17 days, ending in conjunction with the conclusion of Season 5.
Unlike previous 2K Spotlight Sims, Bracket Busters challenges will run across agendas alongside the typical method of completing individual games. Players will use Bracket Busters rewards to complete tasks such as scoring a double-double, making specific amounts of dunks in a game, and scoring an overall point total in a game. An interesting note is that once players have embarked on the journey to complete the tasks, they will need to continue using the list that has built up throughout the challenge. This will allow players to calculate and determine strategies before each game while using NBA 2K22Dynamic scoring system to build a team focused on scoring as many points as possible.
There are many ways for players to quickly complete these tasks and earn all the rewards during the campaign. On offense, a high pick-and-roll is exploitable to give players an easier shot to the hoop. The AI will occasionally detect the screen and send a defender to smash it, but all it takes is picking up the ball and trying to play again. On defense, players will want one of NBA 2K22The best shooting guards covering the AI’s worst three-point shooter to allow for maximum defensive coverage. This allows players to protect the lane without the threat of an AI three point shot.
Alongside the release, 2K Games released an all-new Elite Super Pack, allowing players to collect previously released units in series packs such as Flash, Iced Out, and Hunt 5 Glory. While there are no new Dark Matter units like the Karl-Anthony Towns version, players will have a chance to collect new versions of Galaxy Opal in Joel Embiid, Donovan Mitchell, and Chris Paul from the new package version. Players can also guarantee themselves one of three new units by purchasing the 10-pack. The Elite Super Pack is only available for 24 hours, so time is running out to pick up the Flash 5 Michael Jordan and Iced Out Chris Bosh.
NBA 2K22 is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
