Microsoft has released a new version of Office Build for Office Insiders on Android. New Build 16.0.12624.20052 brings a number of new features to Word, Outlook and Excel. You can read the official changelog below.

Tap with your voice
You can now use your voice to create content. Using voice to dictate content is quicker and a more direct way of getting thought into the document.
- Tap To dictate to start the dictation experience and activate microphone permissions, if requested.
- Press the microphone button to start dictating.
Advice
- Speak clearly and in conversation. Insert “punctuation” by saying the name of the punctuation mark you want to add. You can also add tap the punctuation bar to add the current punctuation as you dictate.
- If you make mistakes while dictating, correct it by deleting and speaking again. You can also flip the keyboard back to correct these errors.
- If you see a lot of incorrect words on exit or missed words, try to speak more deliberately.
- Try to avoid or eliminate background noises that may interfere with your voice.
- Dictate depends on a cloud-based voice service, so it’s important to have a fast and reliable Internet connection.

- Open an Excel spreadsheet or workbook that contains tables.
- Select any cell in the table.
- Click it Map display in the lower pane.

Your recent files are now in the foreground! With additional support for OneDrive, SharePoint, Google Drive, Dropbox, and Box, you can now easily find, attach, or preview files.
Ink on photos
Emphasize every detail. You can now annotate your photos and documents by drawing on the screen with your finger or your stylus!
- When composing an email, tap the camera button on the action bar.
- Select the appropriate mode, then choose or capture an image.
- Tap the pencil icon at the top right to launch a palette of 6 colors
- Select the desired color and annotate your image.
- To exit ink mode, simply press the pencil button again or press Finished to insert the image in the email.
