Mary J. Blige gave the performance of her life on stage as part of her Good Morning Gorgeous tour in Detroit earlier Saturday night.
The talented 51-year-old singer made a grand entrance wearing a shimmering bustier and rhinestone boots.
The Grammy-winning artist began her nationwide tour of the United States earlier this month in September and will wrap up around the end of October.

The Family Affair hitmaker sang confidently on stage in front of a sold-out crowd of cheering and dedicated fans who filled Little Caesars Arena in the heart of the city.
She donned a sparkly bustier that had sparkly boning all over the part. The star added a pair of black velvet shorts to complete the look.
Mary donned a pair of rhinestone-covered heeled boots that shimmered under the stage lights.
Her blonde hair was parted in the middle and flowed over her shoulders in sleek waves.

Her makeup matched the color scheme of her ensemble and included a layer of dark eyeshadow with black mascara. She added nude lipstick to complete her look.
According to the Detroit Free Press, this was the singer’s first time stepping into Little Caesars Arena, and it had been 10 years since she performed in the heart of Detroit.
The star held a golden microphone in her hand as she sang a medley of her older hits and new songs from her latest 2022 album titled Good Morning Gorgeous.
Speaking about the creative process behind creating the album, Mary explained to Good Morning America, “It’s a positive affirmation,” she said in reference to the album’s name.
“I had to talk about myself when I was in a really dark situation. I had to learn to love myself from a negative place. I learned that positive words, and to say positive words about yourself, you manifest positive things in your life.

The soulful hip-hop queen made a memorable appearance alongside other artists such as Eminem, Dr. Dre and Kendrick Lamar at the Super Bowl LVI halftime show earlier in February.
She received an Emmy Award for the performance of Outstanding Variety Special at the 2022 Creative Emmy Awards. Mary shares the award with the other musical artists who performed on the big stage at Super Bowl LVI.
“I don’t even have the words to explain what a complete and huge accomplishment it was. I felt so strong,” she told Apple Music 1 during an interview when discussing her performance.
“If you’ve never seen me or met me or been to any of my shows, you know exactly who I am after the Super Bowl. I just couldn’t wait to hit the Mary bopping. I just couldn’t wait to be myself and do what I do in front of this audience,” she added.

During her Saturday night concert in Detroit, other special artists had joined her on stage.
British-born singer Ella Mai donned a vibrant teal ensemble, including a satin teal blazer and knee-high boots in the same color.
Queen Naija, who primarily grew up in the city of Detroit, also performed on stage to set up Mary’s performance. She wore a nude-colored pantsuit covered in sparkly rhinestones.
The Good Morning Gorgeous tour kicked off on September 17 and will continue nationwide until the end of next month, October 29. Some of the various cities she will perform in include Chicago, Las Vegas, Atlanta, and Brooklyn.
