The 27-year-old Chicago native spent most of his life in the home of Curtis Blaydes, Belal Muhammad and Clubber Lang before moving to Iowa, an early adopter of mixed martial arts for play JuCo football.
After his football career ended, Flowers would pursue a career in MMA which would quickly lead him to the LFA. To this day, LFA is the only “house” he cares to represent.

“The thing is, I don’t do this for other people,” Flowers said. “I used to worry about losing when I was an amateur, I used to apologize to my fans, but now I’m doing this for me. 100% it’s all about me. It may sound selfish, but it’s a bit the case. I don’t care if I represent the community or anything like that. I’m here to win fights, improve my life for my family, and the only way to do that is to focus on myself. Iowa and Chicago are going to come on board with me, they always have, but I’m just focusing on me.
At 11-5-1, Flowers has been cutting his teeth professionally in the MMA game since 2017, but it was after his five saves in the LFA that he really gained confidence and comfort in his career. Quickly, the comfort of a fighter turned into discomfort with his opponent thanks to his experience in LFA.
“LFA is the number one regional promotion in the world,” Flowers said. “There’s a bunch of guys in the UFC that I look at and think ‘oh my god, this guy is an amateur’.”
