Irina Shayk anything but basic in black picks up daughter from school amid reconciliation rumors

Irina Shayk looked anything but basic as she walked through New York’s West Village on Monday.

The model looked stylish in an all-black ensemble that included pants, a shirt and a trench coat.

The 36-year-old beauty wore dark sunglasses and styled her long brown hair while going for a coffee. She appeared to be wearing minimal makeup.

Later that day, the Russian beauty added a black peaked cap when she picked up her five-year-old daughter Lea from school.

The kindergartner looked adorable in a green and blue plaid coat, brown tights and a beanie with LOVE written on it in different colored letters.

Irina admitted to V magazine that she and Lea’s father, Bradley Cooper, 47, do not have a nanny to take on for their daughter.

‘Sometimes [when my friends suggest] dinner or a concert, they always say “We know what Irina is going to say, we don’t have a nanny.” They say this is my life line. But we chose not to have a nanny.

The busy mum who grew up without many luxuries, said she tries to instill a strong work ethic in her daughter.

“I remember one day my daughter came home from kindergarten and she said ‘oh, are you going to work? I want you to stay” And she started crying and I said “You see we have lights on in the house and we have food [on the table]? That’s why mom and dad have to go to work.”‘

Active parent: In an interview with V Magazine, Irina said she is an active parent and that she and Lea’s father, Bradley Cooper, 47, “choose not to have a nanny”

In the past, Irina called the A Star is Born director an active dad, telling HIGHStyle, a Highsnobiety magazine, that “Lea went on vacation with him for almost two weeks.” [and] I haven’t called them once.

Whether Lea’s parents are getting back together has been the subject of speculation recently. The couple dated for four years before splitting in 2019, but all three spent Thanksgiving together.

A source told People that “although they’ve always gotten along great and co-parented, their daughter is happiest when they’re all together,” adding that “although Irina still has her own place in New York, she spends most of her time at Bradley’s.
