How to Delete Apps on a MacBook
You can also press Option (the ⌥ key) to shake apps. When you do this, you have to hold down the key while you click the delete button. Applications only move when the Option key is pressed.
Once you click the X or Delete button in the upper left corner, a message will appear asking you to confirm if you want to delete it. Click Delete to confirm.
Why can’t I delete apps from my MacBook?
