Dakota Johnson brought her sense of laid-back California style to Boston as she arrived on set for her new movie this week.
The 33-year-old stars in Madame Web for Sony’s Spider-Man universe, not to be confused with the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Spider-Man franchise.
The daughter of Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson wore a sleek black t-shirt that was tucked into her skintight jeans to highlight her enviable figure.

Dakota, whose grandmother is The Birds star Tippi Hedren, sipped what looked like iced tea.
Her co-star Celeste O’Connor, who rose to prominence in the Amazon film Selah And The Spades, was also spotted exiting the makeup van that day.
Celeste, who has declared a preference for “them/them” pronouns, was spotted filming an action scene that teased a mystery character.
The fight took place on a huge tilted construction beam, introducing an additional level of danger for the characters.

Celeste faced off against a stuntman dressed in a skin-tight superhero leotard – though whether he’s playing a positive or negative character is unclear.
At one point, the uniform seemed like a darker, more ominous reimagining of Spider-Man’s disguise himself.
A stuntwoman who appeared to replace Dakota could be seen sliding down the beam as the man in the leotard crouched menacingly behind her.
While the announced cast includes Parks And Recreation star Adam Scott and French-Algerian idol Tahar Rahim, their roles have not been made public.

In fact, aside from Dakota as Madame Web herself, all of the other characters’ identities have been kept.
Dakota will be featured amid a cast that includes Euphoria bombshell Sydney Sweeney and Girls actress Zosia Mamet.
Over the past few years, Sony’s Spider-Man Universe and the Marvel Cinematic Universe have collaborated to integrate their characters.

However, they also continued to produce separate films for their own respective franchises, with Sony producing, including the Venom films starring Tom Hardy.
Madame Web is derived from a supporting actor in the Spider-Man comics who first appeared in print in the early 1980s.
At the moment, Madame Web is slated for release in February 2024, after several delays from its original July 2023 release date.
