Ndivhuwo Muhanelwa is a 27 year old man from Ha-Kutama, Tshikwarani in Venda, Limpopo and happens to be friends online with American RnB star Kehlani.
It happened after the comedian, a graduate of social media and marketing, decided to blend in with the images of some popular American actors and musicians – by going to their Instagram accounts.
Now, if you hadn’t seen P Diddy or Nicki Minaj talking to anyone, you’d be fooled into thinking that they were really having a session with Muhanelwa.
This humorous move not only saw its popularity soar, but also helped it attract the attention of hitmaker F&MU Kehlani.
Muhanelwa says, “I had to think and do my research first. I thought I should find something new or nothing [at all]. These videos may seem easy, but each video takes me four to five hours just to put everything together. This is the reason why not everyone does what I do, because these videos are not easy. They need time and patience, as well as wisdom. Not everyone will understand these videos if there is no wisdom, humor and creativity. “
He is a comedy fan and has been actively trying to improve in this field since 2013.
“I started Nochill, a Mzansi page on social media, and it has grown so fast. Now it has more than a million subscribers on all platforms. It was then that I realized that people love what I do, so I had to invest to learn more about social media. “
By focusing on simple memes, he developed and the comments he received reaffirmed his decision to embark on this path of entertainment.
He is inspired by some of the big names he has used: “All these celebrities that I have used are my inspirations in different ways – Cristiano Ronaldo, Kehlani, 50 Cent, Cardi B, Brandy, Nicki Minaj, Kevin Hart , Lerato Kganyago, Pearl Thusi and Cassper Nyovest. ”
He received positive comments from Kganyago, Nyovest, Vusi Thembekwayo and Julius Malema.
Bragging slightly, he says: “Internationally, I received Kehlani’s love, she even followed me on Twitter.” With the winds of recognition and inspiration filling its sails, Muhanelwa now has plans for a podcast, a book and a long list of other businesses he is preparing to take off.
“I’m going to launch my very first mobile application for iOS and Android. This app will be based on social media users and will aim to solve many problems that people are struggling to grow. [their] social media accounts, “he explains.
Through an influencer mentoring center, he plans to help people increase the engagement generated by their social media profiles.
“We have successfully signed over 100 social media influencers and they are trained and will be posted on the app for brands to outsource. The application will be available for free download. “
We can’t wait to see how this gentleman will use the fuel provided by his moment of glory, to pursue his career in comedy and launch his bastion of media marketing.
