Celtic reminded everyone there are just two weeks to go before the UEFA Champions League group stage draw as the Bhoys await confirmation of the six-match gauntlet coming this fall.
The draw will take place at 4pm on Thursday August 25, with Celtic guaranteed to be in pot four.
Qualifying continues in the Champions and League lanes, with 12 teams set to be reduced to six in the play-off round, which takes place before the fateful draw.
Most of these sides will head into pot four alongside Celtic, Club Brugge and Marseille, although the French still have an outside chance to get into pot three.
In terms of potential opponents for the Bhoys, Benfica are most likely to progress from qualifying to pot three, as long as they can get past Dynamo Kyiv.
The Portuguese side have the best coefficient of all the remaining sides in qualifying and would join the seven other clubs already guaranteed pot three should they win the home-and-away play-off.
Celtic Champions League draw takes shape
The first pot is guaranteed to contain Real Madrid, Eintracht Frankfurt, Manchester City, Milan, Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain, Porto and Ajax.
The second pot, meanwhile, is made up of Liverpool, Chelsea, Barcelona, Juventus, Atletico Madrid, Sevilla, RB Leipzig, Tottenham Hotspur.
The seven teams already in pot three are Borussia Dortmund, RB Salzburg, Shakhtar Donetsk, Inter Milan, Napoli, Sporting CP and Bayer Leverkusen. As mentioned, Benfica are the clear favorites to join them.
Clearly there is danger in every pot and Celtic will do well to move into third place in the group at the end of the six matches, even with one of the softest draws on 25.
Nonetheless, it’s an exciting time for everyone at the club, and no one will be looking forward to the draw in two weeks more than Ange Postecoglou, his coaching staff and the players.
Bring it on!
