Bobby Brown has a lot to look forward to next year…especially hitting the road with its New Edition brethren Ralph, Ronnie, Mike, Ricky and Johnny for a new world tour!!!
We hooked up with Bobby on Wednesday at LAX, and he couldn’t wait to spill the tea on their upcoming shows. Although the group has seen some legendary ups and downs since their ’80s debut — like Bobby leaving to launch a solo career — BB tells us their brotherhood is too strong to ever completely break apart.
NE is undeniably one of the most famous R&B groups of all time. They’ve been in the game for around 40 years, and all of the members have had success outside of the group as well – whether it’s hip hop supergroup Bell Biv DeVoe or solo hits from Ralph, Johnny and, of course, Bobby.
It’s all on top of the fans flocking to see them every time they shoot…so no surprise the guys are bringing it back next year.
One thing Bobby doesn’t anticipate is next. whitney houston biopic “I want to dance with someone” … which will probably document their turbulent life and their moments together in the 90s.
Waiting for your permission to load Instagram media.
Bobby says he had no involvement in ‘I Wanna Dance’ so he can’t co-sign his quality, or the performance of Ashton Sanders … the actor who portrays him in the film.
Ashton is one of the most versatile actors in the business… currently starring as RZA in the television series Wu-Tang Clan, and Bobby gave him a strange advice to play the role of the bad boy of New Edition.
