Jennifer Lopez usually gets a lot of praise and admiration when she posts photos on social media. And for decades, it served as a hair inspiration for beauties who danced braids of similar texture, its edges always laid to perfection.
But that wasn’t the case on Thursday night according to fans on Twitter, where the pop singer posted a photo with the caption: Baby hairs and monito [little buns]. Social media followers immediately stepped in to let her know that there was actually nothing baby about that hair. And the comments were pure comedy gold.
Actress Jackée Harry replied, “These baby hairs have become teenagers,” while beauty influencer Jackie Aina just posted a clip on Janet Jackson Instagram Live that said it all.
A @AdaoraNjoku follower wrote: “This is old mum hair… earning pension and all.”
Spiritual Baldie added, “Baby hairs have already had a baby.” And Black Culture Entertainment called them “fringe with frost”.
But overdone baby hair was a huge hair trend for 2019 and has continued on runways and red carpets for 2020. 40s might be the reason we haven’t seen more women spinning around town with this. same thing. The comments are all fun, but who knows, J.Lo might actually be on something.
In the meantime, the innanet decided this wasn’t one of the diva’s best hair moments. We are sure that she is somewhere not bothered about this, still living her best rich and fabulous life (hopefully, she also laughs at these comments).
