black panther 2 is only a month away, but Marvel Studios is still keeping the movie under wraps, even in a new trailer. The last look at Black Panther: Wakanda Forever gives us our best look at the film yet, but it’s still unclear who the new Black Panther will be – though you can guess pretty well.
While the first trailer appealed to emotion, this one gives us a taste of the film’s plot: Namor, King of Talocan, comes to the surface of the world and strikes at Wakanda as the nation is in mourning and at the weakest. Meanwhile, Riri Williams (Dominique Thorne), a young inventor, builds armor that looks like a lot like the Iron Man armor – so those worried that Ironheart’s appearance is just a tease in this film can rest assured it looks like she plays a pretty big role.
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is slated for a November 11 release and will be the last MCU Phase 4 film before Phases 5 and 6 begin.
The following Black Panther brings back many of the actors from the original film, including Letitia Wright, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Florence Kasumba, Winston Duke, and Martin Freeman, while adding new actors like Dominique Thorne, Michaela Coel, and Tenoch Huerta as Namor, who appears to be the villain of the movie. The sequel also brings back Ryan Coogler, who directed and co-wrote the film.
