On Friday (April 12), Eilish surprised the Coachella crowd by appearing alongside the “Summertime Sadness” artist on a golden balcony above the main stage. The pair joined forces for a melancholic dream performance, singing Eilish’s 2016 hits “Ocean Eyes” and “Video Games,” from Del Rey’s 2012 album. Born to Die.

It’s easy to see Del Rey’s influence in the lush minimalism of “Ocean Eyes.” Likewise, Eilish’s career probably wouldn’t exist without the song. Billie has new music on the way
Eilish has been hinting at new music since last year. Earlier this month, she revealed that her third studio album, Hit me hard and softis on the way.
The record follows his 2021 sophomore effort, Happier than ever. Unfortunately for fans, they’ll have to wait until the album drops on May 17 to hear new material. “I don’t do singles, I want to give it all to you at once,” Eilish wrote on Instagram.
