In fact, in the singer’s latest Instagram post, the grungey black and green colors and Gucci bucket hats are gone, replaced by a retro-style cardigan and inflatable blow-dry reminiscent of Dolly Parton.
In the post, Eilish works her bigger hair but with layers and full bangs. Paired with a cream embroidered Gucci cardigan and matching pearl necklace and dangling earrings, the “No Time To Die” singer looks very feminine.
The Grammy winner captioned the post, “ Things Are Comingggg, ” leading her enthusiastic fans to wonder if the image could be a teaser for a new album cover shoot.

During a recent Instagram Q&A, a fan asked why the singer didn’t want to share her new look sooner after it was rumored she wore wigs and hid her new locks for about two months, including at the 2021 Grammys.
Because it took six weeks to accomplish it, she replied, alongside a photo of the mid-transformation hair.
Another follower asked, “ Is your hair healthy or damaged after the bleaching process? ”
“Honestly so healthy and I wasn’t expecting it at all,” Eilish replied. “It’s actually healthier than it has been for a long time. [sic]’

The candid Instagram post showed the 19-year-old with bleached blonde hair all over cut into a choppy shag. In true Eilish quirky style, the post was briefly captioned ‘pinch me,’ as if the star herself couldn’t quite believe her new look.

Although she sported her black and green look for the Grammy Awards just a few days ago, it turns out that the “ No Time To Die ” singer was actually wearing a wig while her blonde hair was in development.
The woman behind Eilish’s blonde transformation, colorist Lissa Renn, revealed on Instagram that the dyeing process from start to finish actually takes six weeks, hence the wig worn at this week’s Grammys.
In a now-deleted message Renn went into details on the arduous process of transforming Eilish’s dark hair into icy blonde:
“The process is real when you do it right. 6 weeks to remove all the black from her ends without damaging it, with her following my strict hair care regimen. We also loved all of the coloring steps, but the end result is 🔥 ”
